Telephonic wonders

For when a phone calls throw situations that threaten to turn a heart to stone there can be only one dignified response.

“Imperious, choleric, irascible, extreme in everything, with a dissolute imagination the like of which has never been seen, atheistic to the point of fanaticism, there you have me in a nutshell, and kill me again or take me as I am, for I shall not change.”

Last Will and Testament of the Marquis de Sade

This is for the edification of those that could not quite grasp this marvellous little gem from the Marquis. I'm not saying that anyone that couldn't understand it straight away is a moron, some of these words really are very rarely used in modern english so don't feel bad about it. I just love this quote and would like to make sure that it's well understood so that people are more inclined to use it themselves :)

Imperious:
-adjective
domineering in a haughty manner; dictatorial; overbearing

Choleric:
-adjective
extremely irritable or easily angered; irascible

Irascible:
-adjective
easily provoked to anger; very irritable

Dissolute
-adjective
indifferent to moral restraints; given to immoral or improper conduct; licentious; dissipated

I'm pretty sure that covers all the big words. Now you know, try put it to good use ;)
